This definitely looks like a genuine rack ear for the mg16xu (and I would guess the mg20xu and all the other mg16 and mg20s). The only caveat, and I'm knocking a star off for this, is that the description doesn't make it clear that this is only for one (1) of the ears, not both of them (which the description as a kit seemed to imply to me). So i think the description needs to be updated to make it clear that you are only getting one of the mounts (which isn't a huge amount of use on its own unless you already have the other one).
